La Cité de l’Architecture
Djeco is supporting the « Carton plein, 13 architectes à l’exercice de la cabane » exhibition at the Cité de l’Architecture museum in Paris
Thirteen architects, including Dominique Perrault, Rudy Ricciotti, Stéphane Maupin, Memia Taktak and others, were asked to provide a new take on their dream treehouse for the « Minimaousse 4″ micro-architecture competition. The treehouse has to be made out of cardboard and paper, and fit in a child’s bedroom. And that’s not all: the children have to be able to get in and out easily and make the treehouse their own by adding printed patterns they can colour in, stickers, magnetic paint, etc. The idea is that one of these treehouses will be made and sold by us, so it also needs to be designed for mass production. Being young at heart and artistically inclined, we are naturally excited about sponsoring such a beautiful project that perfectly encapsulates our values.

The « Carton plein ! 13 architectes à l’exercice de la cabane » exhibition was held during the Maison & Objet show at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre from 22 to 26 January 2010, and at the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine from 2 February to 28 March 2010.
