Djeco is driven by a passion to create and is committed to making toys and games of the highest quality.
With almost 300 new products every year, we create (almost) one toy every day!
Go behind the scenes and discover, step by step, our creative process that brings the products of our dreams to life.
In our workshops, which are like a child's bedroom, creativity can be found in every corner. With paint on their hands and stars in their eyes, our passionate creative team let their imaginations run wild.
Ideas are always flowing, intermingling and evolving, constantly bubbling away. We doodle, we dabble, we make models, all to better imagine the future toy.
Our creative teams work in close collaboration with inventors and designers to bring their ideas to fruition and ensure that the features and ergonomics of the product are adapted to the age of the child.
They then attentively select the materials, test, analyse and perfect the project: every last detail is carefully considered and curated. Finally, we work with specialists from a wide range of backgrounds, especially early years professionals and teachers, so we can be sure that our creations contribute to children's development and enjoyment.
Encouraging children to explore art has always been a top priority of ours. Djeco is an innovator, breaking new ground by inviting a wide community of artists to illustrate our toys and games. Their illustrations are entrusted to our graphic designers, who transform them into playing cards, jigsaw puzzles or figurines. Then comes the creation of the packaging. What the product comes in is much more than just a box, it's a true work of art that decorates children's bedrooms.
High quality standards are a cornerstone of our creative process. We pay special attention to the elegance and functionality of our products: high quality materials and sophisticated design, easy to use and resistant to wear.
A French brand known for the quality of its products, Djeco creates toys and games that are handed down and become part of families' stories.
Sharing is a value that we hold close to our heart. That's why, in 1993, we translated all of our packaging and game rules into ten languages. And our graphic designers ingeniously use images to explain the aim of a game or the steps involved in a craft activity to young children from every country.
In our workshops, Djeco makes use of a rare yet valuable resource in the creative process: time. It takes one to two years from the design of the product to its release. It’s up to your children to write the rest of the story. Dreaming up a myriad of adventures with their figurines, proudly accomplishing an arts and crafts activity or mastering a new skill, bursting out laughing during a family card game: these precious moments that become part of their childhood are why we do what we do.
